Community organizers and other activists interested in human rights told the North Dakota Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights during a hearing Wednesday that the state "needs to do more when it comes to addressing hate crime," in a story posted on inforum.com today.

Activists told the committee that, "current North Dakota laws are inadequate to address hate crimes and more outreach and support is needed for victims of such crime," according to the story.
