From the file of "Something Hopeful"!

Writer: Devlyn BrooksDevlyn Brooks

Fargo's Temple Beth El has opened its facility for the St. Mark's Lutheran congregation to meet in worship.

The St. Mark's Lutheran Church will be worshiping in a new space, maybe even one some would call unconventional.

The congregation, which put up its downtown Fargo building for sale in 2013, has recently been meeting at Prairie St. John's Hospital. But with the hospital set to start construction on a new building on the site later this year, the congregation will have had to move out by Aug. 1.

So, starting in September, the congregation has been invited to begin worshiping at Temple Beth El, and the two congregations will now share space. You can read more about it here in this inforum.com story and see more about it in this KVRR news story.

With all of the strife our country is enduring, it was nice to pull a heart-warming story out of the "Something Hopeful" file!
