February 2017 International Potluck event

The February 2017 International Potluck event was at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo, and it was a blockbuster event. About 260 people turned out for the event which caused event organizers to scramble to accommodate them all, but what a tremendous problem to have!

After the event, IP Founder Peter Schott wrote on the organization's Facebook page: "Last night was simply amazing! I came home from the Potluck feeling completely wiped out and overwhelmed, but at the same time full of joy and hope. Thanks to each of you we made a BIG impact on the community last night. We hoped for 200 people to come to the event, planned for 220, then had to scramble to fit 260 people in the space."

He continued, "As I walked around I felt the energy. People were talking, sharing stories, and enjoying good food. The student presentations left a deep impact as well as the song/sharing time at the end."

Darci Asche of the New American Consortium wrote on the group's Facebook page: "The event tonight was epic! Good work, everyone."
